1840 One Penny Black Plate Ib (AB) from the top of the sheet with part imprint just touched at left with large margins other sides tied to entire letter from Landrake to Dublin dated 22 Aug. 1840 neatly tied by Red Maltese Cross cancellation the upper-right showing superb strike of the rare Landrake Penny Post two line handstamp in black the reverse showing devonport/aug 23/1840 double ring c.d.s. and arrival c.d.s. in red horizontal filing crease otherwise very fine attractive and rare.
