Great Britain Stamps, Penny Reds and Penny Blacks | Mark Bloxham Stamps

The word philately comes from the French philatelie, which was thought by George Herpin, it's coiner, to be better than timbromanie (Stamp Mania). I think we agree. Philotely is derived from the greek philo to like, and ateleia to be exempt from taxes and duties.

At Mark Bloxham Stamps, we are a little of both, we like stamps, and we are sometimes a bit crazy about them too! On this site you will find thousands upon thousands of stamps, RAF Covers, and interesting Postal History items.
